We’re proud to showcase the Fortress FS245R mobile shear by Shearcore in action on one of our latest industrial demolition projects. Recognised as one of the most powerful demolition shears available in the world, the FS245R is helping drive productivity while enhancing safety and control on site.
Despite weighing just 23 tonnes, the FS245R is significantly lighter than comparable models, up to three tonnes lighter, while delivering exceptional cutting performance. Its outstanding strength-to-weight ratio makes it particularly effective for high-reach demolition applications, allowing our teams to tackle challenging structures with greater efficiency and precision.
Engineered for durability, the FS245R features an enlarged main shaft, oversized guiding thrust washers and a reinforced body design that maximises performance and service life. Additional innovations, including an integrated razor blade system for simplified shimming adjustments and full-length rear support lugs, provide enhanced structural strength and reliability in demanding demolition environments.
